C.A.Henry "The Intent to Create"

Opening Saturday November 19, 2011

C A Henry is an internationally collected artist who lives and works in Orillia. Born in Belfast, one of 11 children, he emigrated to Orillia in 1957. Never formally schooled in the arts he was inspired by his Peruvian mother to believe in himself and his creativity. His interests are prolific and over the years he has worked in digital media, with music, sculpture and of course painting. He describes his boldly colourful and energetic landscapes as “acts of faith” reflecting his spiritual values and tribal background. “I paint in Honour of Being. Faith without action is useless “.

We are very pleased to have his work on exhibition through to the end of the year. Please contact the Gallery if you are interested in any of the works below.
