It is that time of year when once again we are busy putting together "The 12 Days of Christmas Show and Sale", our annual Christmas event in which we ask all of our contributors to provide new work for the Gallery and I put on my late night hat to finish orders and stock the shelves. I have just finished a nice little collection of Raku pieces, some of which I think are quite good. Bob Omerod, an Orillia based woodworker, has brought in some fine jewellery boxes and other interesting objects and we have steel work from the west coast and new, interesting, brushed sterling jewellery by Laura Seraferro to add to our considerable collection of jewellery. We have Christmas cards, candles, stocking stuffers, some new salt and peppers by Giles Belanger and hopefully some teapots by the weekend. Beth McKean has some great warm scarves and there are bags in cloth, felt and leather.
The 12 Days of Christmas Show & Sale runs from Dec 3 to the 14'th. It provides a final chance for you to order work for Christmas as I do a last firing after the show. Please remember that we are open daily through the first week of January and then closed for a couple of months.
